Why FlatNama exists
Buying a home in Pune means wading through builder websites, broker copies and property portals, each with its own numbers. The facts are in public MahaRERA filings, but they sit behind a captcha that Google can't read, buried in forms most buyers never find.
FlatNama brings them into one place: every MahaRERA-registered project across Pune and PCMC, with its possession date and any extensions, construction progress, flats booked, MahaRERA complaints and what buyers actually paid. Our aim is simple: to be the first place every Pune home buyer starts, and to bring transparency to a sector that has had too little of it.
Why FlatNama measures flats by the area you actually pay for
About Rahul Ajmera
Rahul Ajmera is a Pune-based civil engineer (IIT Bombay, 2012) who has worked with Pune's real estate data for almost ten years. He built FlatNama to run at such a low cost that it never needs paid listings or ads. It is his way of giving something back to Pune, the city he loves.
His belief is simple: buying a home deserves serious research, and every buyer should be able to compare projects objectively, without being nudged by paid promotion or chased by calls.
